Don't hesitate to come over and take a dip in the Nuclea-lake!

The Swimming section has ample swimming facilities – the beach – available to its members, which is particularly popular during the summer period. The beach is open every day in July and August from 10 am to 8 pm. In bad weather, the Nuclea Board of Directors may decide to close the beach earlier (from 5 p.m. at the earliest). 

Our sun lovers also make intensive use of the white sandy beach for that ever-so-necessary annual portion of sun, but also to spend a pleasant afternoon together with friends. 

During the busy period, the quality monitoring of the water is carried out up to twice a month by qualified bodies such as the Provincial Institute for Hygiene and the Flemish Environmental Company. The condition of the water is published at the entrance to the beach.
