Padel

Padel is originated in Mexico and today is gaining popularity worldwide. It is the mix of tennis, squash and beachtennis that makes the sport so popular. 

Anyone can play it and there are nothing but advantages: 

* Padel is easier than any other racquet sport.

* The artificial grass surface provides better cushioning, with less stress on your joints.

* It is played with a softball, which makes the game less fast-paced.

* Padel is not weather sensitive. After a heavy rainfall, you can start playing quickly. The surface allows the water to pass through well and the puddles will disappear quickly.

We have 2 courts available at Nuclea. 

After receipt of your membership fee, we will take care of your registration with Tennis Vlaanderen asap and will keep you informed via e-mail. In this way you will be insured and will be able to book a court via: https://mijnterrein.be/

You can perfectly bring along guest players who are not members. This 'casual rental' is also done via the Tennis Vlaanderen website. The price per guest player is €7,50 during off-peak hours and €9,50 during peak hours.  (off-peak vs peak hours: weekdays off-peak from 9:00-16:30, peak from 16:30-22:30, weekends all day off-peak). 

After booking a field, you will be automatically directed to the bank payment site if you have also designated guest players. 

Equipment is available in the sports bar or at the Nuclea secretariat during their opening hours, renting a racket costs 3 euro. We do not rent balls, but a tube can be purchased in the café.
